Nicole began her legal career in nationally-recognized, competitive clinical programs at CUNY Law: the Economic Justice Project and the Community & Economic Development clinics. She represented residents of New York City in welfare and benefits law, as well as victims of wage theft in federal litigation. She also clerked for the Communications Workers of America as a Peggy Browning Fellow, where she worked on arbitrations and a variety of labor matters in Washington, D.C. and New York City. After graduating, she joined the National Women’s Law Center in Washington, D.C. as a Fellow for the TIME’S UP Legal Defense Fund. While there, she helped design national programming for attorneys centered on gender equality, worked on federal anti-discrimination litigation, and assisted with legislative advocacy campaigns. When her fellowship ended, she joined a well-respected, plaintiff-side labor firm in Washington, D.C., where she represented unions and public sector workers in federal litigation and labor and employment matters.
Nicole has been trained in trauma-informed representation, which inspires her practice with compassion, empathy, and patience. Though her legal skills were developed and sharpened in large cities, her upbringing in the Shenandoah Valley in McGaheysville, Virginia, has always guided her to handle every case with warmth and approachability. Clients can count on these qualities and rely on her skills to attain the best resolution for their legal matter.
Nicole is admitted to practice in New York; Washington, D.C.; Virginia; West Virginia; and the U.S. District Court for both the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia.
