Larry Hoover was the 2005 recipient of the Tradition of Excellence Award presented annually by the General Practice Section of the Virginia State Bar to recognize “an outstanding lawyer who embodies the highest tradition of personal and professional excellence in Virginia.”
Often referred to as the “Father of Mediation in Virginia, Larry was awarded the Virginia ADR Founder Award in 2004. Now Of Counsel to the Firm, Larry maintains an active practice in mediation and collaborative law along with a part time general practice, teaches alternative dispute resolution to law students and is actively involved in many community activities.
